Bodrum Day Trip from Kos: A trip worth taking
September 6, 2022

„...ok the first day was for business, but you can still find some gems

Ready to explore the beautiful island of Kos? This travel guide will give you a snapshot of what you can see and do in just 3 days! Kos is a popular tourist destination, and for good reason. With its stunning beaches, ancient ruins, and vibrant nightlife, there is something for everyone on this island. Let's get started on your adventure!

Ok, we found ourselves on a bleisure (business and leisure) 2 days trip in Kos in May 2022. All the island was extremely clean and ready for the season. All shops were open and you could find anything you wanted...literally!

Kos guide part1

Arrived there at 10:00 am on the ferry from Rhodes. The ferry was full of young people, locals or tourists that they were heading to Kos for the weekend! Fascinating! What is it waiting there we were wondering!

A fine Freddo espresso at the Kaseta was the kickoff of our adventure! In this fantastic cafe, you can find fine branch options at reasonable prices and a big variety of smoothies, at least that's what we were ordering for 3 days in a row!!!

We had to proceed with our appointments, so we asked at Kos Aktis (the hotel that we stayed) if we can late check in and they accepted at no extra cost. Giorgos, the guy from Eco Rentals , brought us our electric scooters to the port and we were ready to conquer the huge (regarding the size of the island) 13km bicycle paths! We needed no driving license, and we could safely roam at the roads with 25km/h max speed and 70km battery autonomy at one charge!

We headed to our appointment and at about 16:00 we checked in at the hotel! Kos Aktis is a 4-star hotel with an unlimited sea view, right in front of the sea with great room facilities and a superb breakfast buffet with fresh, local ingredients and delicacies. The breakfast was excellent all the days we were there, and the H2O Bar Restaurant (in the hotel's premises) offers quality options of food or cocktails in front of the water!

Kos During the Night (the light version)

In this part of the Kos Guide, you will not hear the wilderness of the Kos Bar Street, but you will find plenty of it at the part2. We chose, Alis restaurant for our dinner, it was suggested by some locals to go there, and we were not disappointed. We ate some top-quality Turkish delicacies, kebab, pilaf and ntolmadakia were only three of the total 9 plates we had.

Our night continued to Global cafe for a drink and some shisha! Basically one of the finest shishas we ever had... Clean, cool tobacco and a very nice vibe alongside a warm welcome from the owner of the place, Hasan came to complete our night in Kos.

Next day, we used the whopping long bicycle roads to visit a beach in Psalidi and have our first dive for this summer! Ok, waters was still cold but the vibes of Kos, are so strong that your only choice is to have fun and spoil yourself with the delicacies that this island has to offer.

In the next part of the article of this Kos guide, you will read about the adventures that we had in our free day of this trip!
