It has been known for its musical tradition where people used to gather in squares at nighttime playing instruments while they sing local tunes. There are many locals who have started building their country homes here as it's peaceful compared to the crowded streets of Kos town near the airport now.

Antimachia Castle

The Castle of Antimachia in Kos is a historic castle overlooking the village of Antimachia. It was built by the Knights Hospitaller (also known as The Order of Saint John) around 1400, and further construction took place at its most intense near 1494 when you can see an inscription above its main gate.
